Wolfgang Schotte

Wolfgang Schotte studied Computer Science at the Technical University of Darmstadt and has been working in Virtual Reality for more than two decades. He played a key role in establishing a Virtual Reality center for mechanical engineering at the University of Karlsruhe before joining the High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS), where he specialized in scientific visualization and Virtual Reality. Since 2020, he has been a forensic expert at the State Office of Criminal Investigation Baden-Württemberg (LKA Baden-Württemberg), where he focuses on developing and applying VR-based methods for the analysis and communication of complex 3D survey data from crime scenes and incident environments.
