Valerin Stokanic studied physics and space sciences at the University of Graz and worked first as a data scientist at the Institute of Biology within the topic of swarm Intelligence. This was followed by an engineering role within computer vision and laser technology at the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the satellite laser ranging observatory in Graz.
Currently he is employed at the Institute of Geodesy at the Graz University of Technology, working on orbit and attitude determination of satellites.
