Stefan Junker leads Trimble’s precise positioning engineering organization out of Munich. The team develops high precision GNSS positioning and navigation solutions for various markets like agriculture, construction, geospatial and autonomy. Utilizing Trimble’s RTX correction data with certified integrity and Trimble’s certified precise multi-sensor positioning engine enables users to develop products according to the highest safety, security and performance standards. Stefan joined Trimble in 2015 to work on GNSS positioning algorithms in harsh environments and for automotive applications. He holds a M.Sc. in Geodesy from Technische Universität Dresden and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Universität der Bundeswehr München.
