Dr. Reza Mohammadi
Reza Mohammadi is a GIS Data Analyst at Immobilien Zeitung, a leading German real-estate trade publisher in Wiesbaden, where he designs geospatial data infrastructure and WebGIS applications for the property market. His work combines Python-based automated cartography, spatial databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS), and interactive web maps built with Mapbox and GeoServer including nationwide layers for noise, land values, and rental yields across Germany. He holds an M.Sc. in GIS from K. N. Toosi University of Technology and is completing a Ph.D. in Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering, where he applies active learning and spatiotemporal analysis to urban traffic-accident severity classification, with results published in Transactions in GIS. Whether in industry or research, his focus is the same: turning large, complex spatial datasets into reliable, production-ready geographic information.
