Dr. Mohsen Romeshkani
Dr. Mohsen Romeshkani is a Research Scientist at the Institute of Geodesy, Leibniz University Hannover, Germany, working in the field of satellite gravimetry, gravity field recovery, and AI-driven geodetic data analysis. His current research focuses on future GRACE-like satellite missions, machine learning methods for accelerometer signal reconstruction, quantum-based sensors, and Cold Atom Interferometry (CAI) accelerometers for next-generation Earth observation missions.
He received his PhD in Geodesy in 2020 and has more than 10 years of academic and industrial experience in geodesy, geomatics, GIS, and satellite Earth observation. Since 2021, he has been involved in several research projects at Leibniz University Hannover and DLR related to quantum gravimetry, AI-based accelerometer transplantation, gravity field recovery, and future satellite gravimetry mission concepts. His work combines physical modeling, machine learning, and large-scale scientific computing for processing GRACE, GRACE-FO, and GOCE mission data.
Dr. Romeshkani has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal and conference publications in satellite geodesy, gravity field modeling, and quantum gravimetry, and he actively contributes to international research activities related to future Earth observation and space geodesy missions.
