Mario is a data scientist at Pointly with a strong background in particle physics and artificial intelligence. He completed his PhD working on the CMS experiment at CERN, where he gained extensive experience in data analysis, programming in Python and C++, and solving complex scientific problems within large international collaborations.
After leaving academia, he transitioned into data science by completing a 9 week Data Science and AI bootcamp at Le Wagon in Berlin. He now works on developing deep learning models for the classification of 3D LiDAR point clouds, combining his scientific expertise with practical applications in AI.
