Layachi Abdelkebir

PhD Researcher in Geodesy (GNSS & Ionospheric Monitoring), ENSGTS – National Higher School of Geodesy and Space Techniques, Algeria

Layachi Abdelkebir is a PhD researcher in Geodetic Sciences at the National Higher School of Geodesy and Space Techniques (ENSGTS), Algeria. His research focuses on GNSS-based ionospheric monitoring and the detection of pre-seismic disturbances using Total Electron Content (TEC) data.

He works on the integration of multi-source geodetic and geophysical data, including GNSS observations, InSAR, seismic catalogs, and space weather indices, combined with artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques for anomaly detection and geohazard analysis.

He is the developer of the SeismoAI-QSS framework, a hybrid AI-based system designed for earthquake-related ionospheric anomaly detection and early-warning support. His research interests include space geodesy, ionospheric modeling, AI in geosciences, and Earth system monitoring.
