Florian Simetsreiter is Head of Sector Sales for infrastructure customers at Esri Germany, where he helps organizations leverage geospatial technology to address complex challenges in infrastructure, energy, and digital transformation.

He joined Esri in 2015 and has held various roles in account management and sales leadership, working closely with municipalities, utilities, and large infrastructure organizations across Germany. Today, he focuses on connecting business strategy with technology innovation, particularly in the field of digital twins, infrastructure lifecycles, and data-driven decision-making.

Florian holds a Master’s degree in Geography from the University of Augsburg and combines a strong domain understanding with a passion for translating geospatial technology into real business value. He actively shares insights on how GIS and digital twins can support more resilient and sustainable infrastructure systems.
