Dr. Florian Pöppl

Head of Software Development, RIEGL Laser Measurement Systems GmbH

Florian Pöppl holds an MSc in Technical Mathematics from TU Wien and wrote his PhD dissertation in Geodesy and Geoinformation on trajectory estimation and integration of satellite and inertial navigation with laser scanning. He is currently heading software development at RIEGL Laser Measurement Systems GmbH, where he also continues his work on laser scanning  data processing, navigation, sensor orientation and calibration.
