From Model Preparation to Connected Worksites: Xsite Rewise for Machine Control and Surveying

Model-based infrastructure workflows depend on high-quality, consistent data for machine control and surveying. In practice, creating and preparing that data for mixed-brand worksites can still be complex. Differences in file formats, coordinate and height reference systems, and project coding practices can create inefficiencies and limit interoperability across the site. Xsite Rewise is designed to simplify this process. Launching internationally at INTERGEO 2026, the software enables users to create and manage model-based data for machine control and field surveying in a more efficient and standardized way. It is built to work with common model data formats used across the industry, helping users prepare and refine project data for a wide range of infrastructure worksite workflows. In addition, Xsite Rewise also supports ISO/TS 15143-4 worksites by handling and producing the key data elements defined by the standard. These include the standard’s own exchange format, ISOLandXML, as well as the management of coordinate systems, height systems, and code lists. Xsite Rewise brings these essential project definitions together into one workflow, helping users prepare data more consistently for modern infrastructure worksites. In the case of Novatron’s Xsite Manage, this information can also be transferred directly to the cloud, supporting connected and scalable site workflows. This session introduces Xsite Rewise and shows how it helps turn model preparation into practical everyday workflows. It highlights how the software supports more efficient data production for machine control and surveying across different file formats and project environments, and how Novatron is turning both open model-based workflows and ISO/TS 15143-4 compatibility into practical solutions for connected infrastructure projects.
