The DVW Future Award recognizes a groundbreaking idea or an outstanding achievement in the fields of geodesy, geoinformation, and land management that has significantly advanced the international state of the art in science and technology and is of exceptional interdisciplinary or overarching societal importance. The DVW Future Award is an honorary, non-monetary award presented every two years in even-numbered years.
