In construction execution, most errors are not caused by a lack of technology but by information silos – between the parties involved, between the technologies in use, and along the entire process chain. Resolving exactly these silos is what we do: Infrakit is the vendor-neutral, cloud-based project execution platform that makes real-time data usable for everyone involved and thus creates the basis for effective collaboration across company and system boundaries. Using real infrastructure projects, the impulse talk shows how this continuous data chain generates value along the entire value chain: the foreman on site works with up-to-date plans, target/actual comparisons and machine-control data (e.g. MTS integration); as-built and survey data – from drone flights, laser scans and digital quantity take-offs – are georeferenced, managed centrally and documented without gaps; and the client receives a reliable data basis, from digital handover to traceable claim and variation management. The common thread runs from machine control through central data management to handover and billing (e.g. ISL integration) – showing how many isolated point solutions become one continuous, silo-free construction process.
